4 months to go

As Daddy said, on Tuesday 18th October 2011 you will be 20 weeks old /5 months. And with only 4 months remaining before you make your big entry we are left anxiously waiting to see you via ultrasound and to make sure you are right on track. You have been moving around so much and last night daddy felt you push back on his hand- he was so startled he held his heart in shock and awe like Mr Sanford (make sure and do it again tonight Ok :)

From what we've read, you seem quite crouched up in my tummy and need more space soon, God is an awesome God how He makes everything all work out though. Daddy and I are deciding on your crib and he also bought your very FIRST set of baby clothes yesterday as a surprise for my birthday and a baby fan to clip on your crib!

Mommy is started to feel tired again and getting those stretching pains in her tummy and hips which means you're growing in size again. On Wednesday, you slept on my sciatic nerve and that caused my two legs to burn alot but you have since been a good baby and moved off.

17 weeks!

Is that you I feel fluttering around and bubbling up a storm? Well I certainly think at least one of those tummy rumblings I've been having is you :)
So my little munchkin (big munchkin is daddy), in one week you will be able to hear your parents for the very first time! Mommy;s belly is starting to show a little now that you are gaining weight and those little limbs are starting to look more like Daddy's long arms and broad shoulders. You are developing so  much that its taking quite a lot of energy for mommy to keep going but Daddy and I are very happy that you are growing up and every day we get more and more hyped up to see you in March of next year.
On Friday, we go to see the showing of your uncle Micheal's movie that he did as his final project for his Animation Diploma. We are very proud of him, we bet he will show that movie to you too in a few years Oh wait...its quite possible you may be able to hear a little bit of it too!

Love,
your mommy and daddy.

PS: as you grow, mommy's belly button opens up-daddy finds it so cool and a little funny- we will take a pic so you can see it when you come out too.

15 Week From Daddy.

The experiences and stories that follow are for the benefit and enjoyment of my family and my daughter and maybe friends.

That night...
Jehovah God has placed me in a family. I have a wife who loves me and take care of me. Of all the families in the world, this is the perfect one for me. Thank you, God.

The morning after? Month of May
Hmmmm? Well, I have to wait 12-14 days to see!

June 11th 2011

We don't know baby Emma is already here. As young/first time parents we are very concerned about everything and I as an expecting father hope that we conceive on the first try. If we had only known that you were already with us we would be VERY worried if they knew you were in there. You have already begun to grow, very rapidly I might add. Right now it is lots of dividing *grin*, and your body will be forming very soon.

June 15th

"I'm so excited? I just can't hide it. Whaoh, whaoh, I think I like it."

I spoke to your mom and we are going to take the test to see if you in there….

I go to dip the test into the cup and it already says you in there…. I don’t know how to hold back my joy…

Here are my top pregnancy worries at this time:

# 1 fear of catching the whooping cough – I have this stupide cough that I want to go get check out to ensure that is not the case

# 2 my wife not being able to deal with the early staged of being pregnant

# 3 telling my family because they will probably react negatively seeing as what happen before with your little sisters.

# 4 impending nausea and fatigue for my wife - No discomfort yet, but if my last pregnancies are indicators of having morning sickness this time around, than I am in for it soon.

September 11th

For a while now, Melissa has been able to feel her womb shifting, and I can feel there is life inside, but no distinguishable little bumps and thumps. Last night was the first time that got up and laid my hands on her belly. I actually lay my hand on mummy the baby and feel lots of activity (Sure felt like that to me). Baby was very busy, and it so incredible to think of the tiny little one just inside, out of sight. It would be so interesting to be able to watch what the baby is doing, but I am happy anyway, when mom and my self can finally be able to feel more define movements. This happened at 1:30 AM, so I hope it is not a sign of what baby will be doing at that time of night next year!

So we are now at 15weeks, and so much has changed, with your size and with mom size. Mom has even started a blog which is what I am not putting my two words into.

14 weeks old

Dear Baby Headley,
You are now 14 weeks and my nausea is slowly subsiding-oh joy! Strange smells of wonderful things i either can or cannot have saturate my nostrils ever so often- freshly peeled oranges, beer and chow!
The doctor/babycentre said I maybe able to feel your little flutters as you move around and kick up a storm but all i feel is gas -lol. Hmmmm....or maybe not :)
The stretching pains called 'round ligament pain' has consistently booked my mornings from about 6ish till lunch time. It feels like sharp dull pains first mostly on my left side (which is where Baby Headley was last reportedly spotted) but has since expanded its endeavors to the right as well." Being so slim is what accounts for you feeling them so strongly" -Dr Samantha Bhagan.
My body is calling for more iron and protein since you have great plans to double in size so quickly and from the research Daddy has done, I will definitely need to increase my diet and pay more attention to giving you all that you need to grow into a happy, healthy little Headley! And so that mummy has enough energy to stay on her feet all day.
Daddy and I were so thrilled to see you on Sep 7th, your little face, arms and legs and the wondrous thunder of your heart working away.

See you soon,
Love,
mom & dad
